I’m a Father, a bioinformatician, a mentor, an entrepreneur, a student and a triathlete.

I, JaKaiser G. Smith, have been a lover of Math for as long as I can remember as I have always had a preference for numbers rather than words. As a precocious child, I relished problem solving and that was what drew me to the world of math. I enjoy cognitive activities such as chess playing where I can apply and sharpen my analytical abilities. I have been involved in numerous volunteer works both in school and as part of my co-curricular activities which goes further to demonstrate my ability to learn new skills and excel at it. I am well able to work as part of a team and as I served as President for Morehouse College Mathematical Society where I have demonstrated my leadership skills. I intend to add new activities to my already busy schedule such as participating in GYAC and accomplish all these by meticulous planning and time management. My alma mater Morehouse College has molded me into an emerging Renaissance man; on excelling at cerebral pursuits. My ultimate goal is to become a college professor.

I, JaKaiser G. Smith, hope to be a role mode for the youth. With the right incentive, one ordinary and extra-ordinary alike, can multi-task and do it well irrespective of where one comes from. My intention is to illustrate this. With dedication, effort and the desire to constantly acquire knowledge anyone can be successful. Self-discipline is pivotal in achieving our goals and ambitions.
